This little 200-word RPG from 2016 is for two or three players, who draw a map and try to survive. When you run out of water, the story ends.

I'm proud of this one. It works well. I would love to see what islands you create.

Oh wow, I love this! I especially love the "I pick, you choose" method used here with an actual bottle of water, which is made even more drastic as the bottle is the life of the castaway. That's so freaking cool!!!

Thanks! It works great. I had the good fortune to test this with a classroom of students and it made some great tension! They worked in pairs, one group of three. I don't know of any other game with a literal consumable mechanic. Plus, limited water on a desert island is a powerful motivator.

Please let me know if you get this to the table, I would love to hear about your experience.

Oh cool!!!!! And no, I don't know of other games with a consumable mechanic either, and I can imagine how much that adds to it as a tactile way to experience the passing of the game. Heck, I can also imagine feeling thirstier and thirstier as the game goes on, and being tempted to take a drink of water even when it's not part of the game to do so.

A million percent that is the expected emergent gameplay. :)
