This is a single-player cut-and-color game where you will make a tiny planet!

It was originally made for the #TinyKeepsakeJam hosted by Junk Food Games. Thanks, yall!

You will need:

  • 2-3 sheets of cardstock (or paper, but cardstock is better)
  • A sheet of stickers on 1/2 inch label paper (Avery 94503, or you could print it out on regular address labels if the size is right or just go with plain paper and use tape)
  • Scissors or a paper cutter
  • Tape
  • Crayons and colored pencils, maybe a pencil
  • A color printer is helpful but not required, you'll just have to refer to the images
  • One six-sided die
  • A journal for when you want to lean into the worldbuilding
  • An hour or two, not in a row

I have the game laid out as a pocketmod right now. Here's how to make one!

After you make your planet, social media it with #PapercraftPlanets and let me know!

This is amazing! I’m working on a journaling project for my struggling readers for this year.  Would it be possible to get a community copy for this purpose? If so my email is Sharyna at gmail dot com … I understand if not.

Million percent yes! Let me know how it goes! I would love to see pictures of the final planets, as well as get any feedback!

Thank you! I’m looking forward to this for a weird schedule day with all my kids and definitely going to do some world building with the journaling kids.

Excellent micro journaling and world-building game! I'm very excited to make my own planet. The feature art is really great.

Yay! I can't wait to see your planet! I adore the art and I knew Evlyn's style would perfectly evoke the mood I wanted.
